The Greene County Sheriff Department presented a contribution to the coordinators of the Society of Folk Arts & Culture to support the 51st annual Black Belt Folk Roots Festival.

Benison stated he “understands the need to keep our community celebration up and running.”

The festival was held August 22-23, at the Thomas Gilmore Square (old courthouse square) in Eutaw, AL.
